Telecare Programme Board
Remit
The National Telecare Programme Board holds primary responsibility for the strategic development of the National Telecare Programme. The Board advises and supports Senior Officers in the management of the Telecare Development Fund. Specifically;
- Ensuring there is an effective, fit for purpose governance and management framework
- Ensuring the roles, responsibilities and accountabilities of individuals and groups is clear
- Ensuring that key decisions and actions are taken in accordance with the agreed framework
- Ensuring there is regular and appropriate reporting to the Board on key elements of the Programme
- Responsible for developing policy and determining the strategic direction of the Programme
- Delegates the operational decision making responsibilities to the Programme Management Group
