Home not Housing was a knowledge mobilisation exercise that sought to explore shared understandings of home, neighbourhood and wellbeing. Amanda Britain attended from the JIT on behalf of the housing team.
At three ideas workshops (in May, July and October 2014) a common vocabulary was identified, linkages between the terms were examined, and the final workshop, explored measurement issues. At a conference at the Scottish Parliament on Monday 3 November 2014, on Understanding, measuring and promoting greater wellbeing in Scotland, Douglas Robertson, (University of Stirling), Deborah Peel and Beverley Searle (University of Dundee) highlighted the importance of connecting policy around home, neighbourhood and wellbeing, and in the measurement through the National Performance Framework.
