Development of Service Specification
Q12 Is the service specification checked by the Care Commission? Is there a standard accommodation specification in use locally?
Scottish Government (2010) New Improvement and Scrutiny Organisations for Healthcare and for Social Work and Social Care: From April 2011 Healthcare Improvement Scotland (HIS) will scrutinise healthcare services and Social Care and Social Work Improvement Scotland (SCSWIS) social work and social care services, including child protection and the integration of children's services. HIS and SCSWIS will take on work, in scrutinising these areas, currently done by:
• Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Education (HMIE)
• NHS Quality Improvement Scotland (NHS QIS)
• Social Work Inspection Agency (SWIA)
• The Care Commission
